Thank you to everyone who took part in our early engagement and most recent consultation on Shaftesbury Capital’s vision to enhance Carnaby Street’s public realm.
Building on the feedback received during our first phase of engagement, we developed a set of emerging concept designs exploring how Carnaby Street and its surrounding streets could be made greener, more accessible and better connected, while remaining true to the area’s distinctive character.
We recently held a second round of consultation to share these concept designs with the local community and key stakeholders.
All feedback from this stage is now being carefully reviewed and will continue to inform the development of the proposals as they are refined ahead of a future planning application.

We invite you to share your thoughts with us so we can work together to shape a better, more inclusive West End.
Following our early engagement on our vision for the future of Carnaby Street’s public realm last year, we developed a set of emerging concept designs informed by the feedback received.
We then presented these concept designs and invited further feedback through a community check-in to understand how well this emerging approach responds to the priorities raised previously.
The consultation has now closed, and all feedback is being carefully reviewed. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend our events, complete the survey, or share their views with the project team. This feedback will help to inform the ongoing refinement of the proposals as the project progresses.
